Get Involved
The Buzz Club is a citizen science initiative, meaning we cannot do what we do without your help!
The UK has a fantastic tradition of volunteers being involved in ecology, studying and enjoying the wildlife around them, while collecting important data.
We aim to continue that tradition, so see below for all the ways you can get involved with our work.
Join our projects
We have lots of great projects that all ages can get stuck into. Our projects are free to take part in, although you will need to supply simple equipment yourself (such as scissors, bamboo canes, or access to a drill). Anything you will need for the project will be made clear from the beginning and data return will always be free. By taking part in these projects you will be getting involved in real science, as well as supporting, and potentially increasing, the wildlife in your outdoor space.
Science with Kids
Our main projects are all suitable to do with kids, although help or supervision may be needed for some parts (usually in the setup). The Buzz Club recognises how important it is to get kids involved in nature at a young age, and we also offer extra resources and opportunities to aid with this:
Experiments for Kids
These experiments are fun activities that you can set up in your outdoor space. They aim to help your child to engage with and learn about nature, as well as helping to solidify the science they already know!

This is currently being worked on, check back soon for experiments.
Environmental Education for Kids
The Buzz Club can offer school visits in Nottingham and Sussex as well as webinars for your school!
